Caleb's 1st Day of School

This kid was beyond ready to get back to school on September 2, 2014.  He could not wait to play with all of his friends.  He could not wait to wear his new shoes, so he could be "rockin' in his school shoes" like Pete the Cat.  He could not wait to see his new teacher, Mrs. Lea Ann.  And thankfully, this year he was not sick on his first day of school! 

Luke's 1st Day of School

Luke's first day of second grade was August 25, 2015.

He was excited when we were still at home.  Excited and super nervous about going to a new school.  His mom was super nervous about the whole thing, too.  He kept a brave face on until we got to the door to his classroom, and then he lost it.  He cried in the hallway to us about how scared he was, and we had no choice other than giving him a hug, telling him he will be fine, and taking him into his class.  (He wasn't crying when we walked in the room, we aren't that evil).  But I didn't make it out of the school before I was a sobbing mess, too.  It was the hardest first day of school ever.

The good news...he had a great day!
