Field Day!

Luke's first field day was on May 14th! It was a very big deal to him. He could not wait. He even had a little countdown going on, which ended up being four days longer because it was originally scheduled for May 10th. Unfortunately we had bad weather that day so it ended up being on a Tuesday.

His class started with the hula hoop contest. They didn't actually have a contest, but just let the kids hula hoop. Maybe because they were only kindergarteners? I don't know. All the teachers got a kick out of Luke hula hooping, especially when he went for two at once!


Then they did a relay race.


Then was time for snow cones. There is nothing like a snow cone at 9:00 am.


Caleb would only sit in his stroller when he had a snow cone, too.


Then the limbo...


Then they played a game where they had to run down, grab a lei, run back, and put it around Mrs. Butler's neck. Or arms. I think this was the biggest hit of field day!




Daddy came to watch some, too!
